Governor Francisco Gabrielli International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Gobernador Francisco Gabrielli) (IATA: MDZ, ICAO: SAME), better known as El Plumerillo International Airport, is located 8 km (5 miles) northeast of the center of Mendoza, a city in the Mendoza Province of Argentina. The airport covers an area of 490 hectares (1210 acres) and is operated by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 S.A.
The terminal building is 12,800 square meters (137,778 square feet) and has 2 levels. There are 161 parking spaces at the airport, one infrecuently used arrival/departure lounge and 4 gates. The airport has very little domestic and international arrival and departures areas, considering the number of passengers it serves per day.
